CURRENT LAB MEMBERS
Joined the lab in August 2018. She is an undergraduate student majoring in Biology.
Anna is interested in attending medical school and become a physician. She loves being apart of the lab team and has enjoyed learning from her fellow lab members and their experiences. She seems to always be in a high spirits and has a very happy go lucky personality.
When not in the lab, Anna enjoys hiking & eating ice cream.
Joined the lab in January 2019. She is an ACCESS student and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Medical Lab Science with a minor in Chemistry. She is an Emergency Medical Technician and plans to attend medical school, as well as pursue a Ph.D. Taylor is especially interested in alternative methods for treating antibiotic-resistant, hospital-acquired infections.
When Taylor is not in the lab she enjoys swimming and playing volleyball.
Joined the lab in January 2019. He is majoring in Biomedical Engineering and is considering pursuing medical school or graduate school.
Hyonoo is a past UROP recipient and is interested in researching biomedical treatments using novel techniques, especially to assist medically underserved populations. He is passionate about learning as much as he can and is motivated to always perform his best in the lab.
Outside of the lab, Hyonoo likes to rock climb and backpack in the mountains.
Molly Czachor - Undergraduate Research Student
Joined the lab in September 2019. She is an undergraduate student studying biomedical engineering with a minor in chemistry. She is interested in working in pharmaceuticals and possibly going on to graduate school or pharmacy school. Molly enjoys working on animal studies with the other lab members and is interested in developing new antibiotics and methods to treat various diseases.
Outside the lab, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and skiing.
Joined the lab in June 2020. She is an undergraduate student studying Biology with minors in Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering. She is interested in working in pharmaceutics and most likely continuing in a related graduate program. Rachael enjoys learning new laboratory techniques and working on ways to treat bacterial biofilms.
Outside the lab, Rachael likes to relax watching shows, being outdoors, and listening to music.
